2 cozy starbucks flavors that got overshadowed by pumpkin spice

as of yesterday, it’s OFFICIALLY fall!
I am unbelievably happy about this!
and in celebration, I naturally had to talk to you all about something we all love so very dearly… STARBUCKS πŸ˜‰

ah, yes, the epitome of joy for the american white girl πŸ˜‰
seriously, what gal doesn’t practically (or literally) jump for joy at the signs that declare “pumpkin spice is back!” I mean really now!!

but, I’m afraid in all of our pumpkin spice excitement, two very tasty flavors have been knocked out of the running for our undying affection!

but no longer!
I’m here to bring them back into the spotlight πŸ˜‰Β

  1. salted caramel mocha
this is my absolute fave. more than pumpkin spice. more than anything, really. it’s basically hot chocolate’s sexier, more sophisticated big sister. warm toffee nut & chocolatey mocha swirl together with hot milk and espresso to create THE coziest flavor full of complexity. (always kinda makes me want to start singing “chestnuts roasting on an open fire…”) πŸ˜‰ BUT! it doesn’t end there. fluffy, hand-whipped cream, gooey caramel drizzle, and candied sea salt adorn the top of this drink. does it even get any better than that?! I’ll make this easy for you: nope πŸ™‚
  2. caramel apple spice
this is the queen of all apple ciders. hot cider gets a makeover, with spicy cinnamon notes & the sweet strains of caramel syrup. ❀ mmmm… it practically transports you to orchards of mackintoshes and pink lady apples, then pulls your memory into your grandma’s kitchen, filled with the scent of pies baking and the turkey being carved. yeah. it’s all that. but this drink, too, gets topped with whipped cream & decadent caramel drizzle. I like to ask for some cinnamon on top, too! πŸ˜‰

    well there you have it!

an excuse to visit starbucks two extra times πŸ˜‰ have you tried either of these yummy drinks? is one of these your fall favorite?

    happy sipping!!
