5 things // september edition

it’s september, you guys. ❤
fall is coming, and I can practically taste it on my tongue.
I can TASTE it, you guys.

falling leaves in toasty colors, warm drinks to cup one’s hands around, cozy cable knit sweaters, seeing your breath, getting to wear leggings in public, crisp and clear nights, frost in the morning, knit socks in boots, and pumpkin spice everything.

am I the only one who is totally psyched for this? 😉

well, this month, I’m taking a note from simone of adventures of everygirl and writing my “5 things” for the month. thanks, simone, for the wonderful inspiration!!

remember this // never touch anything with half of your heart.

memorize this // “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”  [2 corinthians 4:16-18]

learn this // continue to work through my “textbook” teaching yoga. I don’t have the funds to pour into a yoga teaching certification right now, so I’m just studying up on all I can 🙂
teaching yoga

do this // create an autumn bucket list and start crossing off items!! hopefully I’ll be able to update this in october!! 🙂

prioritize this // my marriage. make date night or day happen every single week. be committed to serving my husband in the ways don’t come naturally to me… like getting laundry folded the same day I pull it out of the dryer 😉
