in monday’s post (read it here!) we had a little chat about drinking more water this week, and how that helps your body (and naturally, your overall mood) in, like, a bajillion ways.
I found out that supposedly the amount of water we ladies ought to be drinking each day is roughly 9 cups, and then we took on a challenge to drink 9 cups of water each day this week!!
sooo… how have you been doing with your water intake? 😉
I’ve hovered around 6 or 7 cups mostly the past few days. (sigh)
today, I’m currently working on cups 8 and 9 out of my cute little handcrafted to go cup ❤

wanna know why?
just a few pieces of sliced fruit and some tossed-in berries have totally helped me achieve my water-drinking goal!!
I don’t know if it’s because it looks so pretty or if it’s because it tastes so freakin’ good, but something here is so working for me.

In case you were wondering why one would care to dump some fruit into perfectly good water, here are just a few of the many, many benefits of fruit-infused water:
-helps to detox your whole system
-keeps your organs healthy
-yummy taste helps you drink more water
-ups your vitamin intake
the fun part is, you can use just about any fruit or berry you have on hand! try apples, lemons, limes, strawberries, blueberries, oranges, peaches, raspberries, kiwi, etc… you can even try non-fruit edibles like mint leaves!
try keeping a pitcher of infused water in your fridge for easy access, or grab up a super cute to-go cup from untidy grace! 🙂
and re-fill, re-fill, re-fill!!
